

TASHKENT: Oman and Uzbekistan have discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations, expand cooperation and exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The discussions took place during a meeting between Khalid bin Hashil al Muselhi, Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Bahramjon Aliyev, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, at the Uzbek Foreign Ministry headquarters in Tashkent.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between the two friendly countries and exploring ways to further develop bilateral relations.
The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
Wafa bint Jabr al Busaidi, Oman's Ambassador to Uzbekistan, and a number of officials from both countries attended the meeting. — ONA
